Welcome to Milaaj. By submitting your device for repair, using our pickup and delivery service, or engaging with any of our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding.
1. General
Milaaj (“we,” “us,” “our”) provides repair, diagnostic, and data recovery services for mobile phones, laptops, MacBooks, tablets, gaming consoles, AirPods, Apple Watches, PCs, and related devices in Dubai, UAE. These terms govern all service interactions, whether in-store, online, or via pickup and delivery.
2. Device Submission & Collection
- Proof of Identity: A valid Emirates ID or passport must be presented when submitting or collecting your device. We reserve the right to refuse device release without valid identification.
- SIM & Memory Cards: Do not submit your device with SIM cards or memory cards inserted. Milaaj is not responsible for any loss, damage, or data compromise related to SIM cards or memory cards left in submitted devices.
- Item Verification: Customers are required to thoroughly inspect their device at the counter before leaving. Any concerns regarding the repair must be raised at the time of collection. Milaaj is not liable for complaints raised after the device has left our premises.
- Storage Duration: Devices left uncollected for more than 30 days from the date of repair completion will no longer be the responsibility of Milaaj. We will make reasonable attempts to contact you via call, message, or email. If repeated attempts are unsuccessful, we reserve the right to dispose of or recycle the device. No refund on the service or value of the product will be made after this 30-day period. By using our service and accepting these terms, the customer forfeits the right to claim the product or damages after the stipulated notice period.
3. Repair Estimates & Approvals
- All repair quotes are provided following a free diagnostic assessment. No repair work will begin without the customer’s explicit approval of the quoted price.
- Quotes are valid for 7 days from the date of issue. Prices may change if the device condition changes or if additional faults are discovered during the repair process.
- Milaaj reserves the right to revise an estimate if internal inspection reveals faults not visible during the initial diagnosis.
4. Diagnostic & Declined Repair Fee
- If a device is submitted for repair and, following diagnosis, the customer chooses not to proceed with the repair, a diagnostic/assessment fee will be charged. This covers the time and labor invested in evaluating the device.
- If a repair is attempted but cannot be completed due to the nature of the fault (e.g., severely damaged components, unavailable parts, or irreparable hardware), a partial labor fee may be applicable. Our team will inform you of this before proceeding.
- By submitting your device for assessment, you acknowledge and agree to this policy.
5. Pickup & Delivery Service
- Free Pickup & Delivery is available for all repair services within Dubai at no additional charge.
- For locations outside Dubai (including Sharjah, Ajman, Abu Dhabi, and other Emirates), a delivery charge will apply. The applicable fee will be communicated before the booking is confirmed.
- Unsuccessful or Declined Repairs: If a device was collected via our free pickup service and the repair is either unsuccessful or the customer chooses not to proceed after diagnosis, the return delivery is still chargeable. The fee will be communicated before the device is returned.
- Pickup and delivery time slots are subject to availability. Milaaj will make reasonable efforts to meet agreed time windows but is not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control.
- The customer must ensure someone is available at the agreed address at the confirmed time. Failed pickups or deliveries due to customer unavailability may incur a rescheduling fee.
- A valid Emirates ID or passport must be presented at the time of pickup and delivery to confirm the customer’s identity.
- Customers are advised to notify us of any pre-existing cosmetic damage before collection to avoid disputes upon delivery.
6. Warranty on Repairs
- All completed repairs carried out by Milaaj are covered by a limited warranty on parts and labor. Warranty duration varies by repair type and will be communicated at the time of collection.
- Spare parts carry no warranty unless explicitly stated otherwise at the time of repair.
- Software repairs are not covered under warranty. This includes OS reinstallations, software troubleshooting, virus removal, and app-related fixes.
- The warranty is void if the device shows signs of physical damage, unauthorized third-party repair, tampering, or misuse after collection from Milaaj.

Warranty periods are subject to change. Final warranty terms will be confirmed on your service invoice.
7. Warranty Void Conditions
The repair warranty is automatically void under any of the following circumstances:
- Physical damage, scratches, or impact damage caused after collection.
- Liquid or water damage occurring after the repair.
- Unauthorized third-party repair or tampering after the service.
- Failure to present the original service invoice or job receipt.
- Damage caused by extreme environmental conditions, humidity, heat, or corrosion.
- Lines, spots, or display issues resulting from a subsequent drop or impact.
8. Waterproofing & Water Resistance
Opening any device for repair — including phones and Apple Watches — permanently disables its original waterproof or water-resistant rating. Milaaj is not responsible for any liquid ingress following a repair, even if the device was previously certified as water-resistant or waterproof. Customers are advised to take appropriate precautions after any repair service.
9. Water Damage Repairs
- Water damage repairs are performed on a best-effort basis. Due to the unpredictable and progressive nature of liquid damage, Milaaj cannot guarantee the long-term outcome of water-damaged devices.
- If a previously repaired water-damaged device is resubmitted with the same or related symptoms, Milaaj is not responsible for the recurrence and the repair will be subject to a new assessment and charge.
- Customers are advised to disclose any history of liquid exposure at the time of submission.
10. Data & Privacy
- Secure your data before submission. Milaaj strongly recommends backing up all personal data — photos, contacts, documents, and apps — prior to handing over your device.
- Milaaj is not liable for any data loss that occurs during the repair process, including software repairs, OS reinstallations, motherboard replacements, or hardware servicing.
- Our team will not access personal data on your device except where strictly necessary to diagnose or complete the specific repair requested.
- Milaaj may collect personal information including your name, contact number, email address, and Emirates ID for service and verification purposes.
- We may photograph devices for internal documentation or quality records. Customer images will not be used for marketing without explicit consent.
- We may contact you periodically about service updates or promotions. You may opt out at any time by emailing support@milaaj.com.
- All personal data is handled in accordance with applicable UAE data protection regulations.
11. Spare Parts & Components
- Milaaj uses genuine, OEM, or high-quality compatible parts depending on availability and customer preference. Part type will be disclosed prior to repair.
- No warranty is provided on spare parts installed at the customer’s specific request against our recommendation.
- In cases where a specific part is unavailable, we will inform you and provide an estimated lead time or alternative solution.
12. Refund Policy
Milaaj aims to deliver every repair to the highest standard. In cases where this is not achieved, the following refund policy applies.
Eligibility for Refunds
- A refund may be issued if the repair service was not performed as agreed or if the reported fault remains unresolved after multiple repair attempts by our team.
- Refund requests must be raised within 14 days of the service date and must be accompanied by the original service invoice or job receipt.
- Our team will review the device and the nature of the complaint before approving any refund.
Non-Refundable Situations
- Repairs where the customer confirmed satisfactory completion at the counter or upon delivery.
- Issues arising from new faults unrelated to the original repair.
- Damage caused by the customer after collection, including drops, liquid exposure, or third-party tampering.
- Software repairs, OS reinstallations, and virus removal services.
- Diagnostic fees charged for assessments where the customer declined to proceed with the repair.
- Delivery fees for unsuccessful or declined repairs.
Refund Method
- Approved refunds will be processed via the original payment method.
- Cash payments will be refunded in cash.
- Card refunds may take a minimum of 10 business days to reflect, depending on your bank or card issuer.

13. Payments
- Payment is due upon collection or delivery of the repaired device. Milaaj accepts cash, card (Visa/Mastercard), and bank transfer.
- Devices will not be released until full payment has been received.
- All prices are quoted in UAE Dirhams (AED). The price confirmed at approval is the price charged — no hidden fees.
- In the event of a billing dispute, customers are encouraged to raise the matter at the counter or before accepting the return delivery. Post-collection disputes will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
14. Limitation of Liability
- Milaaj’s liability is limited to the cost of the specific repair service rendered.
- We are not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from device failure, data loss, or service delays.
- We are not liable for pre-existing faults or cosmetic damage not documented at the time of submission.
- Milaaj shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to supply chain issues, courier delays, or force majeure events.
15. Indemnification
By using Milaaj’s services, the customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Milaaj, its employees, technicians, and management from any loss, liability, claim, or demand arising from: (a) the customer’s breach of these terms; (b) inaccurate information provided by the customer; (c) damage or faults pre-existing or unrelated to the repair performed; or (d) the customer’s failure to back up data prior to submission.
16. Age Requirement
By submitting a device or using our services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age. Minors may not independently submit devices or enter into service agreements with Milaaj.
17. Intellectual Property
All content on milaaj.ae — including text, images, logos, and branding — is the intellectual property of Milaaj and is protected under UAE and international intellectual property laws. No content may be copied, reproduced, or distributed without prior written consent from Milaaj.
18. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes arising from the use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the UAE.
19. Changes to These Terms
Milaaj reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
20. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable under applicable law, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect without modification.
