Remove your account lock (FRP) first, or nobody can buy it
Every phone brand has its own version of the lock that blocks a resale, and it is the single biggest reason a sale falls through. On Android phones (Samsung, Pixel, Xiaomi, OnePlus, Huawei, Oppo and others) this is called Factory Reset Protection, or FRP. Once a Google account is signed into the device, a factory reset alone does not remove it, the phone will ask for that same Google account password on setup and stays locked to it until the original owner signs out first. Samsung devices have an additional “Find My Mobile” reactivation lock on top of FRP. iPhones use Apple’s Find My / Activation Lock instead, a similar idea with its own separate process.
